In contribution with the Toyota’s environmental assistance’s to a less carbon air society, Al-Futtaim Motors known as the élite supplier of Toyota vehicles in UAE has extended its substitute fuel vehicles contributions. It has also made a settlement with the Dubai Municipality that will ensure that the organization will take hold of three Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid cars which will be used and assessed for the future huge scale placement.

The conferral of the three Toyota Prius took place at the 17th Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX), which was joined by the General Manager Sales & Marketing of Al-Futtaim Toyota Motors known as Alan Carpenter and also by Humaid Saeed Almarri, Director of Transport Department of Dubai Municipality.

In this event, Alan Carpenter said “The Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid will entirely be used by the Dubai Municipality for their effort to create a greener municipal in the city. By the use of our expertise and unrivalled technology which is also a part of every Toyota Hybrid, we will work together with Dubai Municipality to make an impression on the productions and completely change the face of conveyance in Emirates while also taking part in the UAE’s green program.”

The Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid has the same functionality of the Prius Hybrid but has a prolonged electric driving range with enriched fuel efficiency. If the Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid has a fully charged battery, it can deliver up to an EPA-rated ninety five MPGE3 in its EV Mode. According to a report it has been heard that the sale of Toyota Hybrid automobiles have also surpassed seven million mark which results in about 49 million fewer tons of carbon dioxide releases, which was also alleged to be the reason of global warming. Toyota vehicles in UAE has also estimated that its hybrid automobiles have helped in saving eighteen million kiloliters of petrol as equated to the amount of petrol used by petrol-powered automobiles of similar size and shapes.
