Sajida Ismail is the newly appointed Vice President, Service and Hospitality of Etihad Airways, UAE. Few days back, it was in the UAE news that government will do every possible thing to empower the women. This revolution is necessary to make countryâ€™s progress and economy unbeatable.
And now, Etihad Airways step forward for the cause and has appointed its new Vice President Service and Hospitality a female working with the airline since 2007.
Ms. Ismail commented on her new role in the airline and said “Being part of the growth and success of Etihad Airways continues to be a rewarding experience for me. This new role will allow my team and I to create the strategies and innovative programs needed to feed the growth of the airline as a world leader in service and hospitality design. This will enable us to foster guest loyalty by creating unique travel experiences they will value.”
Earlier she was working on the position of Etihad Airwaysâ€™ Head of Product and Service Standards. There, her job responsibilities include the designing, development and also the implementation of Etihadâ€™s revolutionary new service delivery models in all cabins. This covers The Residence service by Etihad Airways and its dedicated Butler alongside the much applauded Flying Nanny program.
In the fresh appointment as Vice President, Service and Hospitality, Ms. Ismail will lead the service design, development and expansion of the hospitality culture across all business areas.
The Senior Vice President, Marketing of Etihad Airways, Mr. Shane Oâ€™Hare stated that “With almost 30 years of experience in the airline and hospitality industries, Sajidaâ€™s tremendous knowledge and expertise in the fields of product and service development has placed her in the ideal position to deliver outstanding hospitality excellence in her new role. She has provided remarkable leadership and direction to the Product and Service Standards team.â€
He further said “Sajida was instrumental in the design and realization of Etihad Airwaysâ€™ new inflight service concepts on the new Airbus A380 and Boeing 787 fleet, and she will be invaluable in her new role, responsible for the development and implementation of the next phase of the Etihad Airways service and hospitality journey.”
Ms. Ismail has pretty impressive experience of working with international airlines. Before joining Etihad Airways- UAEâ€™s second largest airline, she was working with Bahrain-based Gulf Air and spent 20 years there in execution of various senior marketing as well as product related roles.
